Made exclusively for John Lewis in France from solid French oak, this chair is part of a rustically styled collection with a distressed finish to create an impression of age and use. The timber is selected for its natural characteristics and given time to dry and age, so no two pieces will be exactly alike in colour or grain. The light finish on this ladderback dining arm chair is called Alsace, and it's upholstered in a biscuit colour fabric made from 57% acrylic, 32% polyester, 11% cotton. Matching side chair also available. Please note: The arms of the Bergerac armchair do not pass under the skirt of the Bergerac dining table.
