Hanhart Chronograph Watch by from Grand Prix Legends
This limited edition Hanhart chronograph watch was a favourite with German pilots in the 1930s. Known for its accuracy and reliability it became an indispensable tool for professional flyers and was standard issue for German fighter pilots during the war. With its automatic Valjeux Kaliber movement, the watch has a stainless steel case, a fluted rotary bezel and a screw-on back cover. It is also waterproof to 100 metres. A favourite of Steve McQueens when in motorcycle competition, this edition is limited to 64 pieces as a tribute to the rider and movie icon. This limited edition watch has a black face and brown strap with a matching slip over wide strap. This style of strap was very popular in the 1960s and McQueen has been pictured wearing his Hanhart in this configuration.
