Despite looking like an 8-way plug strip the nifty IntelliPanel saves you energy and money. It works by switching off your computer equipment left on standby. Plug your PC into one socket and all your peripherals (printer, modem, scanner, etc) into the others, and this clever device will only supply power to your accessories once it detects the computer is switched on. Within seconds of the PC being powered down, the IntelliPanel cuts off the electricity to your peripherals. It features 8 sockets and will save an average of 35W per hour depending on the number of connected peripherals. The IntelliPanel also features built-in surge protection and its own standby consumption is a measly 0.4W. Maximum power 13 amps. Please note: This device is not recommended for use with laptops.
